Farmers Markets
At Our Watson Farmstead, we are passionate about sustainable living. We have purchased a self-contained trailer to bring our products to our local and regional farmers’ markets, fall festivals and any place that would have like-minded people who love sustainable living. We strive to provide fresh produce; fresh baked goods cooked on site; canned fruits, jellies, jams and other easy to preserve products. We sell freeze dried fruits to include strawberries, bananas, apples, cantaloupe and peaches. Where available and in season, we source fresh local organic, high-quality products from local farmers for items we do not yet grow or make on our farm.

Around Our Farm
Our Animals
We raise many types of farm animals. We have layer hens, meat birds and pigs which are raised for meat.
Organic Gardening
All our produce and some of our fruit bushes are grown in raised beds or containers filled with organic soil and compost. We buy our soil by the 1200 lb bag from a local company. The soil has been a proven game changer for us. The raised beds allow for reduced weeds and easier weed control. It also offers us the ability to have an automated water system for precise watering for each group of plants and their needs and has made it easier on our bodies.
Clean simple eating
We pressure can and preserve a wide variety of fruits, veggies, beef & chicken broth along with jellies & Jams. We grow a variety of peppers that we make into sauces and edibles. Our newest venture is freeze dried fruits. Fresh baked breads, pies, and deserts are always on the table.
